Reflection
Personally, this module has taught me a lot about culture. I used to think that cultures only referenced race or religion, never realising the flexibility of it. To be honest, I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that gaming was considered a culture. When I was younger, I absolutely loved games, always glued to Facebook games or my Nintendo DS. I stopped in high school but in 2021, I started playing again. The culture my group chose truly piqued my interest, and I was able to learn in depth of the gaming world, something I never really thought of doing until this task. However, I am tremendously grateful for it.
Besides that, I had never made an art book before. It was an interesting experience, taking time to plan out what I wanted in the pages, making sure it looked presentable, etc. Admittedly, it was hard coming up with characters in a short amount of time, but I am pleased with how they came out!
I also was able to look back into my past, and face something which helped me grow as a person. It allowed me to reflect on my years, growing up. I think that is something that can be extremely important for a growth of a designer. Thus, I am grateful to be able to be given the opportunity to experience this module and have been grouped with wonderful group mates.
