Reflection
I have learnt many things in this class. Some harder than others, but all as equally important for my growth as a designer as well as an individual.
When it comes to handling information, I learnt that designers have a great responsibility to help educate the general public. This module has taught me the importance of portraying information, as well as the consequences when we don't. It definitely has opened my eyes and will shape me out to become a designer who is truthful with what I put out for the world to see, and think twice before anything.
Besides that, I was able to learn multiple ways of presenting information. From my own course work as well as learning from my fellow friends, I was able to see the various and intriguing ways to create infographics that are not only factually correct, but visually appealing.
Finally, I was able to learn how to utilise motion graphics wisely. Sometimes, it was a pain to sit in front of my laptop for hours, but with that pain, it has taught me more things than I taught possible! In high school, I thought the word 'information' was dull and boring, but as I finish this module, I learn that it is definitely more than that. It can be tremendously engaging, and colourful.
Overall, I found this class to be very insightful and these heavy two months will definitely be what shapes me into a better designer in the future.
